In My Kitchen: July 2014

Thank you Celia from Fig Jam and Lime Cordial for allowing me to participate In My Kitchen July 2014. This month, in my kitchen are …

imk-jerky

Geronimo Jerky is a Brisbane based beef jerky company that specialises in producing the best beef quality jerky. The jerky is gluten free, low in fat, low in carbs and use no artificial colourings, preservatives or additives. These three are without chilli.

griffiths-coffee

I tasted Griffiths’ Just Fair Coffee and Mundial coffee and wrote a review about it. It’s fair trade and organic in a resealable tin.

imk-cacao-nibs

I’m planning on adding cacao nibs to trail mix and muesli when I get around to it. This is the first time I’ve bought Banaban’s raw cacao nibs.

imk-paleo-hero

I’ve been enjoying Paleo Hero’s Primal Choc Granola. It reminds me of lamingtons with the cacao powder and shredded coconut. Yummy.

imk-vege-chips

These popped Vege Chips are new on the market and come in three flavours: lightly salted, lime chilli and cheese. They are a very more-ish treat.

Thank you Celia from Fig Jam and Lime Cordial for organsing In My Kitchen July 2014. Thank you Vege Chips and Griffiths Coffee for providing samples.

  1. Emma, beef jerky! I haven’t had that in years – how nice to know there’s an Australian made one on offer. And I love cacao nibs – we use them all the time! 🙂

  2. I love, love the Paleo primal Choc Granola… I haven’t had beef jerky in ages, so I may give these go as they are local 🙂
    Thanks for sharing!

  3. I know I’d be popping those pop chips straight into my mouth as I’m a fiend for those type of snacks. I always love your photos Emma as you take them outside, as do I. Perhaps your house has a dark interior, like mine. I take my photos on top of the wheelie bin in the front yard! Thanks for the tasty tour.

  4. Emma, it was neat to read the Geronimo Jerky company’s info. (Thanks for the link!) Coincidentally, I just read an article about Geronimo in the latest issue of Oklahoma Today magazine. I bet your muesli & granola will taste spectacular with cocoa nibs added to it, and I’m wishing I had some of your Vege chips to snack on!

  5. I have tried and tried and tried and I just can’t enjoy jerky *sigh*. But that’s OK as my hubby loves it and is happy to eat it all when it’s on offer. I do however, like the sound of your granola. Going to look out for that.

  6. I really enjoyed this post. Great snacks. I’ve never used raw cacao nibs before. I am new to IMK so my post was a little late. It is up now if you would like to read it. Emma.
